Acupuncture and Massage College

Acupuncture and Massage College ble opprinnelig grunnlagt i 1983 som Acupuncture-Acupressure Institute (AIA), som den første akupunkturskolen i Florida.

I 2000 ble Acupuncture-Acupressure Institute tildelt programakkreditering av akkrediteringskommisjonen for akupunktur og orientalsk medisin (ACAOM). Samme år skiftet AIA navn til Southeast Institute of Oriental Medicine (SEIOM), for å gjenspeile et bredere engasjement for studiet av orientalsk medisin. I 2003 ble SEIOM innvilget nasjonal akkreditering av Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), institusjonens navn ble endret til Acupuncture and Massage College .
